Installing the case is a bit tricky. You cannot install the case normally by just putting your phone forcefully inside the case. You need to use the backplate removal too to easily remove the backplate of the case and put the phone inside.

Once installed, you'll notice that this case is truly premium. The rubbery material on the side is thick and tough. Behind, the plastic backplate also feels durable even if its a bit prone to scratches.

But overall, we think that this case can really withstand even hard forced drops. According to LifeProof, it has U.S. Military Standard for drop and shock protection. It should also be able to withstand the drops, fumbles, vibrations, and bumps.

Design is catchy. We like that it has some hints of green on the sides and the plastic backplate is transparent. As a result, even if the phone has a rugged design, it won't look ugly at all.

Ergonomics is also nice. It is quite thick, but not that hard to hold. It is far from slippery as well. It can fit your pocket easily too.

The minor downsides are: Buttons are a bit hard to press and not that tactile, removing the phone from the case is tough, reaching for the silent key is a quite hard as well if your nails are short.

But overall, this case can fully drop proof your iPhone X for as high as 2 meters. We also liked that it is quite stylish for a rugged case.
