OPPO announces R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition

In China, OPPO just launched the R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition. Both are equipped with glass design, notched OLED screens, and an A.I. assistant.

As expected, both the R15 and R15 Mirror Edition loads with a 6.28-inch FHD+ 2280 x 1080 resolution OLED Super-V Display with an iPhone X-like notch.

OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition

Inside, the R15 is powered by the new and interesting MediaTek Helio P60 processor with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU while the Dream Mirror Edition runs with Snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 512 GPU. Both has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Both are expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The R15 has a 3,450mAh battery while the Dream Mirror Edition has a slightly smaller 3,400mAh of juice. Both has VOOC charging support.

The OPPO R15 comes with a 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX519 sensor paired with a 5MP secondary sensor. The OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition has the same 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX519 sensor, but it is paired with a larger 20MP secondary shooter.

For selfies, the R15 has a 20MP front camera with A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology and screen flash. On the other hand, the Dream Mirror Edition boasts an 8MP selfie shooter with A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology and Face Portrait mode. Both also has a fast 0.8 seconds face unlocking tech.

Both runs with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Color OS 5.0 skin and new A.I. assistant that learns your usuage patterns.

The OPPO R5 and Dream Edition will go on sale starting April 1 in China. The R15 is priced at CNY 2,999 (around PHP 24K) while the Dream Mirror Edition retails at CNY 3,299 (around PHP 27K).

There's no word on international availability yet though.
