Today Apple has launched iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED edition. Every purchase of those RED devices contributes directly to the global fund to fight aids.

According to Apple, the contribution helps people affected by HIV in Ghana, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Kenya, and Zambia. It'll use a portion of proceeds from the sales of (PRODUCT)RED to finance HIV and AIDS programs.

Basically, the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED still has the same iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus specs except for its new red color option. They are still powered by the Apple A11 Bionic chip inside.
