Based on its design and leaked specs, the OPPO A83 has similarities to the OPPO F7. It has a 6.2-inch FHD+ 2160 x 1080 screen, 64-bit Helio P60 octa-core processor, 4GB or 6GB RAM, 64 or 128GB expandable storage, and 3,300mAh battery.

At the back, it still has a single 16MP main camera. But, the 25MP selfie camera from the F7 is gone. OPPO replaced it with an 8MP selfie snapper instead.
It has no fingerprint scanner as well. Most likely, it'll have the face unlock tech instead.
The phone measures at 156 x 75.3 x 7.8 mm and weighs 159 grams. It boots with Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.
Having said that, this handset, there's a chance that it could be the "lite" version of the OPPO F7.
