PLDT, First Telecom and STAR Inc. work on PH's first Whole Home WiFi

PLDT teamed up with STAR Inc., official distributor of TP-Link products in the Philippines, and First Telecom to provide the PH's first Mesh WiFi system.

PLDT uses TP-Link's Deco M5 devices for a Whole Home Wifi solution

This is offered through PLDT's Whole Home Wift plan that includes 50 mbps of Fibr Broadband connections and three TP-Link Deco M5 devices. They work to optimize the WiFi coverage around your home and eliminate dead spots as well.

The Deco M5 devices is said to be using smart adaptive routing technology that looks for the most optimized path for a data packet to pass through and connect to the network. The Deco M5 is touted to be a complete WiFi system that includes three or more bands that can be placed around the house to provide reliable connections.

This is PLDT's effort to provide the Filipino consumers and families the most reliable and stable connection in their home. They also promise to minimize and eliminate dead spots in every corner so that you can enjoy fast internet wherever you choose to work around the house.
