AMD Ryzen 2400G and 2200G receives firmware and driver updates

The AMD Ryzen series of processors are some of the best in terms of performance. The Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G received some firmware and driver updates.

AMD Ryzen 2400G and 2200G receives updates

The driver update features new enhancements for gamers and creators supplied through the updated Radeon software and new BIOS firmware upgrade. The aim of this is for more performance, smoother and enhanced gaming experience.

Fortnite improvements

The increase in in performance is shown in two of the most popular PC games right now, Fortnite Battle Royale and PlayerUnknown's Battleground. It showed an improvement of 7% higher FPS which translates to 28% smoother gaming experience in Fortnite.

PUBG improvements

PUBG shown an improvement of 12% higher FPS translating to 27% smoother gaming experience. In terms of CPU and GPU performance through creator workloads such as Adobe Photoshop is shows a 16% increase in performance.

Workload management improvement

The update also improved performance and smoothness in popular games aside from Fortnite and PUBG. They also resolved the problem with intermittent display artifacts. They also improved the High Precision Boost with 2 clock speeds in games.

The updates are now available. If you have the AMD Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G make sure that you get the latest BIOS and Driver updates as soon as you can.
