It's the device with beastly specs designed to compete and beat the likes of the Black Shark, Nubia Red Magic, and the Razer Phone.

In terms of design it is inspired by the latest design language from ROG laptops with aggressive lines and LED lighting!

On the top, it carries a 6-inch AMOLED touch display with FHD+ 2160 x 1080 resolution, 90Hz, 1ms response time, and 108% DCI-P3 Wide color gamut.

Under the hood is has Qualcomm's 64-bit 10 nm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.96GHz, gaming grade Adreno 630 GPU, massive 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of ROM.


It's currently the fastest version of the Snapdragon 845 chipset.

It is powered by a 4000mAh high capacity battery with the new Hyper Charge Technology that promises 0 to 60% battery charge in 33 minutes!

For audio it has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and dual stereo speakers with smart amp.

What makes the ROG Phone special is that it is optimized for landscape orientation use. An example is a second charging port at the left side which enables charging while playing in Landscape mode.

It comes out of the box with Aeroactive Cooler that clips on the side charging port that provides external cooling to the phone.

Other accessories that are sold separately are like the Desktop Dock that allows you to game like you would on a desktop by connecting to a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

The second accessory is the TwinView dock where it adds a second screen to expand gameplay with unlimited possibilities when supported by game developers.

Lastly is with the partnership with GameVice and WiGig which allows the user to dock the ROG phone on a GameVice Controller and stream to a larger display.

ASUS also revealed that the ROG Phone will be available in the Philippine by Q3 2018 and full specification will be announced by then.
