LG V40 will have triple rear cameras?

LG's rumored smartphone V40 will have no under 5 total cameras, the triple rear and two front cameras.

Although the Korean smartphone brand has just launched the two new V-series this year, the V30S ThinQ and V35 ThinQ, those two are slight upgrades of 2017's V30. 

The rumored V40 is speculated to have a 3D face mapping solution using both cams and face unlocking.

For the rear cameras, two sensors, a standard one, and the company's signature ultra-wide lens should be expected. But the third camera is still not clear. Maybe it can be a zoom lens or just one dedicated to depth of field effects.

The Huawei P20 pro has a total of four cameras, three on the back and one on the front. But the LG V40 will have two on the front.

It is also speculated that the V40 will be having a notched screen, and is still unclear if the display will be OLED or LCD, with the latter tech having been chosen for the G7.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 854 chipset will be inside, LG's quad-DAC will be back on the V40. The upcoming smartphone will have a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side, near the volume rocker. The fingerprint sensor will still be on the rear.
