Huawei will make more exciting smartphones in the near future!

Jim Xu, the President for Marketing and Sales Service of the Huawei Consumer Business Group shared some very exciting details regarding the future of their smartphones.

In our recent trip to Huawei's facility in Shenzhen, China, Xu revealed that the company is planning to release a powerful gaming-grade smartphone this coming second half of 2018.

It is not clear though if it is a type of handset with have the accessories and aggressive design of other gaming phones such as the Xiaomi Black Shark phone and ASUS ROG phone.

But, one thing is for sure. It'll load with a new generation high-end Kiri chipset and Huawei's own GPU Turbo technology.

Aside from the gaming-grade smartphone, Xu also stated that Huawei will have foldable smartphone in 2019 for sure. It could be the seamless type of smartphone and tablet in one device.

He also shared that we can expect to see the first 5G capable smartphone of the company next year.
