Xiaomi's upcoming Pocophone F1 will come with SD845 and dual cameras

Xiaomi is expected to launch a new sub-brand, the Pocophone. The first smartphone that could be under that brand is the F1.

Based on certifications at NCC and FCC, the Pocophone F1 is a pretty interesting high-end smartphone.

Recently, it appeared at Bluetooth SIG certification. The Bluetooth SIG certification documents revealed that it will come with the model number M1805E10A. In addition, it also confirmed its processor, camera setup, and other key features.

It showed that the Pocophone F1 will come with a Snapdragon 845 octa-core chipset by Qualcomm. Obviously, it will be paired with the Adreno 630 GPU.

It could also be paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage.

On the camera part, it has a dual camera setup. It goes with a 12MP + 5MP snapper. The primary 12MP sensor has 1.4µm pixels and Dual Pixel focus. The 5MP secondary sensor is for depth of field or bokeh effect.

For selfies, it has a 20MP snapper with Super Pixel binning technology to capture more light while keeping the noise low.

It will also come with AI face unlock tech that works even in lowlight.

The device will boot with MIUI 10 out of the box.

According to leaks, its price could start at just EUR 420 or around PHP 26K.

It could be one of the cheapest Snapdragon 845 powered device if that's the case.
