ASUS updates the camera of ZenFone 5Z

ASUS has started rolling out a major update for the ZenFone 5Z to improve its performance especially on the camera part.

Better than ever?

The update include new features like RAW file support, panorama feature, EIS on and off button, flash feature in Pro mode, and Real Time Filters.

ASUS also updated its camera performance by improving HDR, camera stability, auto exposure, sharpness, autofocus, 720p slow motion quality and file size, increase audio quality in video to 192 kbps, and general video quality.

Aside from the camera improvements, the update also included fixes to improve WiFi stability and other bugs.

As a quick recap, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z is the current flagship smartphone of the Taiwanese company. It has the same ZenFone 5 specs and cameras, but it now has the speedier Snapdragon 845 SoC and larger max RAM and ROM size.
