IFA 2018: Motorola announces One and One Power Android One smartphones

At the IFA 2018, Motorola announced two new Android One smartphones, the One and One Power. Both devices are equipped with big notched screens with 19:9 aspect ratio and P2i water-repellent nano coating.

First is the Motorola One, it has a 5.9-inch 2.5D curved IPS display with HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution. Under the hood, it rocks the 64-bit Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD, and 3,000mAh battery. It also has the TurboPower fast charging tech.

It has a 13MP f/2.0 paired with 2MP f/2.4 secondary camera for depth effect. For selfies, it has an 8MP shooter.

The rest of the specs include a fingerprint scanner at the back, WiFi 802.11, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM card slot. It will be available in black or white colors.

The phone measures at 149.9 x 72.2 x 7.9 mm and weighs at 162 g.

Next is the Motorola One Power. It is the higher-end device. It features a 6.2-inch IPS panel with FHD+ 2246 x 1080 resolution.

Under the hood, it runs with the speedier 64-bit Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It is paired with Adreno 509 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable storage up to 128GB, and massive 5,000mAh battery with  TurboPower fast charging.

On the camera part, it features a 16MP primary shooter paired with a 5MP secondary depth camera. For selfies, you'll find a 12MP shooter.

The rest of the specs include a fingerprint scanner at the back, WiFi 802.11, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM card slot.

The handset measures at 155.8 x 75.9 x 9.98 mm and weighs at 170 g. It'll be available in black, white, and golden colors. 

Both phones boots with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. They will be updated Android 9.0 Pie once its out.

The Motorola One is priced at EUR 299 (around PHP 18.6K). The Motorola One Power has no SRP yet.
