OPPO Find X: First Camera Samples
To make the Find X a better overall flagship smartphone, OPPO seeded an important update recently to improve its cameras.

In case you missed it, the OPPO Find X highlights a dual camera setup at the back. It goes with an AI-assisted 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX519 + 20MP f/2.0 Sony IMX376k sensors. The primary 16MP camera has OIS while the secondary 20MP camera is for depth information and for "better" lowlight shots. It also has PDAF and an LED flash.
In front, you'll find a large 25MP f/2.0 Sony IMX576 sensor with 3D AI Beauty Technology and AI Portrait Mode. It also has a bright type of screen flash for lowlight selfies.
Anyway, without further ado, here are the first few shots with our new OPPO Find X after the major camera update.

There are some who claimed that the cameras of the OPPO Find X is not that impressive for the price.
But, for me the shots that I took are now much better after the update.
To my eyes, most of the daylight shots and some indoor shots I took can compete with the very best out there. It goes with plenty of details, punchy colors, good contrast, and nice dynamic range.
In lowlight, shots are decent. But, it is noticeably softer with less details and a bit more grain.
Fortunately, it has a good type of pro mode which could help you improve your lowlight shots.
For selfies, shots are AMAZING. Most of my selfies are well detailed in most lighting conditions. The face beauty is also really good. Though there are few occasions where it was a bit too aggressive. The bokeh effect for selfies has clean edge detection too.
