Smart, PSF, AKFI team up for Alay sa Boracay gift-giving program

Smart, PLDT-Smart Foundation and Alagang Kapatid Foundation Inc. team up to give gifts at the "Alay sa Boracay" program for residents in Boracay.

Smart reached out to the people of Boracay

The program was initiated by Smart's sales and distribution group and was held at One Central. This program provided the locals and members of the Ati community with supplies and means to improve their livelihood.

The program is part of Smart's on going support to load retailers and Smart subscribers who have been affected by the recent closure of Boracay's tourism activities. This followed up the financial assistance Smart has provided to 6 public schools as part of the Brigada Eskwela initiative on the island.

Load retailers in Boracay received a bag of groceries that includes rice, canned goods, noodles, personal hygiene products, and medicine. There are also attendees that won raffle prizes such as mobile load wallets, phones, Smart Bro Home Pocket WiFis and portable speakers.

Kok's, Smart;s distributor for Aklan, Antique, Capiz and Boracay, also offered free international calls to retailers with overseas relatives. Children also received school supplies, shirts and toys from PSF and AKFI.
