Starmobile phones, JUMPU mobile accessories now available on 7-Eleven's CLiQQ online shop!

Homegrown smartphone brand STAR, Inc. has tapped 7-Eleven's CLiQQ to allow Filipino consumers to purchase its devices in the online shop.

Through this expanded partnership with the convenience store chain, Filipinos can now buy the complete lineup of Starmobile phones and JUMPU mobile accessories online, the company said.

Ardie Balderrama, Sales and Marketing Head of Starmobile, said this move of the company was aimed at expanding its presence and bring its devices closer to the masses. Currently, STAR has already penetrated 900 sari-sari stores across the country.

We are scaling up our partnership with 7-Eleven to make it even easier for more Filipinos to purchase Starmobile and JUMPU products. The e-commerce partnership we launched last year has shown promising results, allowing us to scale our reach significantly while still driving efficiencies, especially when it comes to logistics and shipping, Balderrama said. 

STAR teamed up with 7-Eleven in 2014 to let the latter carry its Starmobile devices in their branches nationwide, boosting the technology firm's reach.

STAR also made Starmobile's Play Five and Play Lite available on in-store CLIQQ kiosks. 

Ordering in the CLIQQ shop is easy. Users only need to insert their mobile number, choose a payment option and select the pick-up location.
