In our initial impressions that you can read here, we found that the build quality is near if not flagship grade coupled with the stunning Iris purple color, we couldn't recommend it enough.

But looks aren't everything, so we wanted to see how powerful the internals are with 2017's flagship chipset, the Kirin 970.

1. AnTuTu Benchmark - The Nova 3 scored 198,923 while the CPU score is 68,079 and the GPU scored 71,932! It is borderline 200,000! Few phones can score like this in this price range with a Kirin 970 and 6GB of RAM!

2. Geekbench Benchmark - This benchmark measures the capabilities of both the individual single cores and all the cores in simultaneously. 

The result of the single core is 1,912 while the multi-core score is 6,690! This means the phone can handle apps with both single-core and multi-core supports well.

3. PCMark work battery life test - In our standard PCMark battery test that puts the phone through a rigorous continuos workload of varying difficulty until the phone nears the critical battery levels.

The Nova3 got a surprising 10 hours and 51 minutes which is consistent with the P20's scores given that they have the same processor and near similar battery capacity.

4. Multi-Touch test - This test aims to see how many points of touch a display can simultaneously detect and track accurately and responsively.

The Nova 3 got a full 10 point multi-touch score which makes it great for multitasking and playing games that require multiple touch inputs simultaneously.

5. Sensor Box - The sensor box app detects all the hardware sensors the phone has built in and shows the user what is there and if it is active.

The Nova3 has an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, magnetic sensor, sound sensor, light sensor and orientation sensor which makes it great for gaming!
