In Cologne, Germany, Fujifilm announces two new Medium format cameras! A Rangefinder style and a 100MP sensor with In-body Image stabilization!

Medium Format is a larger format than 35 mm Format or Full Frame and thus gains all the advantage of a larger sensor.  In the last two years since the GFX was released, Fujifilm's marketshare by 60 percent.

The first of the two cameras is the rumored rangefinder style with the 50MP sensor of the original GFX50S but is one inch thinner than the original.

It is called the GFX 50R and it looks like a larger X-E3 with a Medium Format sensor. It weighs 775 grams or 145 grams lighter than the GFX50S. It is said to be priced at USD 4,500! (This may change though)

The Japanese company also announced the development of the GF50 f/3.5, GF 45-100 f/4.0, GF 100-200 f/5.6 are in development.

The second camera is the GFX100. The first 100MP Medium format camera with In-body image stabilization. The high resolution demands that even the smallest movements can introduce camera shake thus the need to stabilize the sensor. The body alone is USD 9,995.

The company also teased the mockup of the fan demanded XF 33 f/1.0 R lens.
