This is how Vivo takes selfie gaming seriously

Admit that we're all fond of selfies whenever and wherever we are. A good selfie camera is a feature that we look for in a smartphone, and Vivo shows how they mastered it.

The Chinese smartphone brand started with a multi-location research and development centers before coming up with their first smartphone that boasts of capturing clear selfies.

Vivo introduced the V5s equipped with a 20MP f/2.0 selfie camera that yields hi-res selfies along with its selfie soft-light technology. Just over a year ago, we were faced with the Vivo V7+ packed with a 24MP front camera paired with 5.99-inch AllScreen display.

Earlier this year, we have put our hands on the Vivo V9 sporting an 24MP AI selfie camera.  It was easily followed by the Vivo X21 that boasts of a more powerful AI selfie camera of 12MP with Dual Pixel sensors ( 24 million photographic units) that enhances selfies.

Just last month, Vivo V11 has the most improvements among the brand's selfie and rear cameras. It is equipped with a 25MP selfie camera featuring AR stickers, AI-Face Beauty, and AI Selfie Lighting for a more fun and enhanced selfie.

Vivo also packed the Vivo V11's selfie features with AI Face Shaping technology that naturally enhances the user's facial features. It has AI face-modelling algorithms, transforming a 2D image to a 3D one. V11 has also AI Portrait Framing that prompts the user to tilt the smartphone in an optimal position for a perfectly framed selfie shot.
