GrabTaxi is now operating in Subic!

Grab kickstarts its GrabTaxi service at Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) today as an addition to the current 11 cities they are serving.

This operation is in lined with helping Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) in developing the area into a smart city. Grab has trained a total of 120 taxi drivers to meet safety and service standards and these drivers are now ready to accept bookings.

As the everyday app, we at Grab believe in the smart cities of tomorrow, and introducing our technology to Subic brings it closer to its vision of building its very own smart city. With GrabTaxi now in place, locals and tourists will now have a more convenient, safer, and faster way of commuting, said Brian Cu, Grab Philippines Country Head. 

Aside from Subic, Grab is already available in 11 cities in the Philippines, namely: Manila, Cebu, Davao, Pampanga, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Baguio, Bataan, Naga, Iloilo, and Tacloban.
