MediaTek to launch the Helio M70 next year, the company's first chip with 5G
MediaTek CEO, Cai Lixing revealed that they will launch the Helio M70 chip in the first half of next year, 2019.

The M70 will be the first 5G basedband chip of the company. MediaTek also revealed that they will make a 5G SoC by the end of 2019. It suggests that 5G will be available on MediaTek powered phones in 2020.
Cai Lixing also revealed that the company will invest more resources in 5G as the business transfer time gets closer.
MediaTek's CEO also mentioned that they learned lessons during the period of 4G. They also have compliance with 3GPP 5G standards is quite accurate and active.
He also said that MediaTek's upcoming chip architecture is quite clear and fully utilized.
On the other news, the company also launched the Helio P70 with a improvements coming from the P60.
