Honor has a new smartphone that has been certified by TENAA, the Honor 8A with model numbers JAT-TL00 and JAT-AL00. It could be a the newest budget Android device of the company.

Honor 8A leaked and rumored specs

TENAA revealed its design and key specs. It will feature a two-tone glass-like back design like the Honor 8X, but with no fingerprint scanner at the back.

It is said to feature a 2.5D 6-inch screen with tiny waterdrop-like notch. It will come with an HD+ 1560 x 720 resolution and 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio with tiny bezels.

Inside, this handset is powered by the 2.3GHz octa-core processor (probably the Kirin 710), 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable storage up to 512GB with a dedicated microSD, and 3,000mAh battery.

It also comes with a 13MP main camera with LED flash, 8MP selfie camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE, Blueooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It measures at 156.28 x 73.5 x 8.0 mm and weighs at 150 g. The handset is expected to come in black, blue, gold, and red color options.

The Honor 8A is expected to go official in the coming days.
