The Samsung Exynos Auto V9 will power Audi cars with in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system in 2021. It is designed to display content on multiple displays and provide information to assist drivers and passengers for a safer and more enjoyable in-vehicle experience.The chip is based under the 8nm process technology with ARM Cortex-A76 cores up to 2.1GHz, ARM Mali-G76 GPU, and premium HiFi 4 audio digital signal processor (DSP), NPU for AI, and a safety island core which supports Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL)-B standards. The chip also supports LPDDR4 and LPDDR5 DRAM.
The Exynos Auto V9 also has next generation of automotive in-vehicle infotainment systems that meets industry's strict reliability requirements.
It supports up to six displays and twelve camera connections for various sub-system content in premium IVI systems.
In addition, its NPU can intelligently manage a safe and personalized driving environment and process visual and audio data for features such as face, speech or gesture recognition.
