Xiaomi and OnePlus devices emit highest radiation according to research

The German Federal Office has conducted a research to find out which smartphones emit the highest and lowest radiation.

Since smartphones are the most used devices, they are always a subject of research and development. However, one important aspect that is given little attention is the radiation levels these devices emit. That is why this research conducted by the German Federal Office is important to know.

According to their research, the top 5 highest radiation emission comes from 3 brands' device. These brands are XIaomi, OnePlus and HTC. Overall, Xiaomi has 4 devices, 4 devices for OnePlus while HTC has 2.

The 5 devices at the top are Xiaomi Mi A1, OnePlus 5T, Xiaomi Mi Max 3, OnePlus 6T and the HTC U12 Life respectively. Other devices comes from the Google Pixel line, Apple iPhone line, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and the ZTE Axon 7 Mini

Samsung and Motorola devices emit lowest radiation

Samsung, LG, Motorola and ZTE dominate the lowest radiation emission list. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 tops the least with ZTE Axon Elite, LG G7, Galaxy A8 and Galaxy S8+ rounding up the list respectively.

Samsung has 8 devices that emit the least amount of radiation. ZTE has 3 devices, LG and Motorola has 2 while HTC managed to have 1 with the HTC U11 Life.
