Sony Xperia 1 leaked with triple rear cameras, 21:9 4K HDR OLED screen

Ahead of Sony's MWC 2019 event, renders and information about the Xperia 1 were leaked. Popular leakster, Evan Blass, shared the device renders.

4K HDR OLED screen for the Sony Xperia 1

Along with the new Xperia XA3 series, Sony is expected to launch a new flagship smartphone that could be named the Xperia 1 series. According to the leaked renders, the Xperia 1 looks to be a tall device with an updated design. The design looks refreshing in terms of Xperia devices however there seems to be bezel up top as the status bar seems to be lowered.

The rumors also say that the Xperia 1 has a 21:9 4K HDR OLED screen. This means that it could be a follow up to Sony's Xperia XZ Premium. It will also have a triple camera setup as well. There is a fingerprint scanner fount at the right side of the device along with the volume rocker and power button.

For internals, it is speculated to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 6GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage and a 4,400mAh battery. It is also expected to load with Android 9.0 Pie.

As with all leaks, take these information with a grain of salt. Nothing is official until it is officially launched on February 25.
