Meizu Note 9 with SD675 and 48MP cam now official

After teasing the Note 9 for some time, Meizu has finally made the phone official. It's a mid-ranger packed with waterdrop notch, capable chip, and a promising 48MP main cam.

It comes with glossy back design and a 6.2-inch 2.5D curved IPS screen with 18:7:9 screen aspect ratio and 89.23 percent of screen-to-body ratio. It features a slim bezels with 3 mm top, 5.35 mm bottom, and 3.1 mm side.

Inside, the phone runs with the 11nm 64-bit Snapdragon 675 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz and Adreno 612 GPU. It goes with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and 4,000mAh battery with USB-C fast charging.

Behind, it highlights a 48MP f/1.7 Samsung GM1 sensor and 5MP secondary camera. For selfies, there's a 20MP f/2.0 sensor with face recognition 3.0 tech.

As expected, the handset has a fingerprint sensor, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5 LTE, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

The phone comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS with Flyme 7.2 skin on top.

It measures at 153.1 x 74.4 x 8.65 mm and weighs at 169.7 grams.

It will be available in black, white, and sparkling blue color options.

Price and availability

It will be available in China starting March 11. The 4G RAM/64GB ROM variant is priced at CNY 1,398 (around PHP 10.8K), the 4GB RAM/128GB ROM or 6GB RAM/128GB ROM models are priced at CNY 1,598 (around PHP 12.4K).
