ASUS ZenFone 6 to feature Snapdragon 855, 5,000mAh battery, and 48MP cam

Ahead of its May 16 launch, ASUS confirmed some of the key specs of the upcoming ZenFone 6.

On Twitter, the Taiwanese company revealed that the handset will be powered by the latest 7nm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor with Adreno 640 GPU. 

The image by ASUS also showed that it comes with triple slots (dual SIM/microSD), 3.5 mm audio jack, LED notification, and some sort of a "Smart key". There's a USB-C slot spotted in the image as well.

Moreover, an ASUS executive also shared a Morse Code on Instagram showing other details regarding the phone. It confirmed its use of a massive 5,000mAh battery and a 48MP + 13MP dual-camera setup behind.

Recently, there are rumors that it might feature an 18W fast charging and a 2340 x 1080 resolution screen.

So far, it is looking to be a solid upgrade over the ZenFone 5Z last year.
