Right on schedule, Google launched the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, the mid-range Pixel phones.

Pixel 3a features a the classic two-tone design in a polycarbonate share with Active Edge squeeze response.

It goes with a smaller 5.6-inch 18:5:9 FHD+ OLED screen at 441 ppi. Its display also highlights HDR support and Dragontrail glass protection.

Under the hood, it runs with the 10nm Snapdragon 670 processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with Adreno 615 GPU. It features 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB storage, Titan M Security chip, and 3,000mAh battery with USB-C 18W charging.

Behind, it highlights an AI-assisted 12.2MP f/1.8 main camera with Dual Pixel, OIS, EIS, 4K video recording, and 720p 240fps slow-mo mode. Google also highlights that it has the Super Res Zoom designed to produce sharp details when you zoom. It also has the Night Sigh handheld night mode ala Huawei phones.

For selfies, you will find an 8MP cam with an f/2.0 aperture size. It also has a fingerprint scanner behind, stereo speakers, 2 microphones, WiFi 802.11ac 2x2MIMO (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, and NFC.

It measures at 151.3 x 70.1 x 8.2 mm and weighs at 147 grams.

On the other hand, Pixel 3a XL has a similar design and specs from the Pixel 3a. But it uses a larger 6-inch 18:9 OLED display and 3,700mAh battery with 18W fast charging. 

It measures at 160.1 x 76.1 x 8.2 mm and weighs at 167 grams.

Both phones come in just black, clearly white, and purple-ish color options. Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are priced at INR 39,999 and INR 44,999, respectively. It will be available in India from May 15.
