Philippines now has more than 400 Google Station: Smart WiFi sites!

You can now connect to more than 400 Google Station public WiFi sites across the Philippines in partnership with Smart Communications, Inc., a local telco giant.

400 Google Stations are now live in the Philippines

Google Station started in February of 2019 with 50 sites that included train stations, airports, universities as part of Google's Next Billion Users initiative that will connect Filipinos to reliable and fast internet.

This means that Filipinos can access unlimited internet that is registered as 30-minute sessions with Google Ads in between. After the first 30 minutes, users can register for another 30-minute session continuously.

This is just the beginning.
