Canon PowerShot G5X Mark II and G7X Mark III now official in the Philippines!

Canon's PowerShot G5X Mark II and G7X Mark III now shoot 4K!

Two new cameras from Canon have arrived at Philippine shores. Both are equipped with a new 20.1MP 1-inch stacked CMOS sensor, a new DIGIC 8 processor, a 3-inch 1.04M dot tilting touch LCD screen that connects via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. The addition of the new USB Type-C port allows for USB power delivery meaning you can use or charge the camera via the USB port.

What separates the G5X Mark II from the G7X Mark III is the 24-120mm f/1.8-2.8, 35mm equivalent zoom or 5x zoom, the 0.39-inch, 2.36M-dot organic LED pop-up electronic viewfinder. With the included battery, the G5X Mark II is rated for 230 shots.

Canon G7X Mark III 

The G7X Mark III, on the other hand, has a 24-100mm f/1.8-2.8, 35mm equivalent zoom or 4.2x zoom, direct to YouTube stream, and a 3.5mm microphone input jack. The included battery is rated for 235 shots but may become less if using the YouTube live stream feature.
