What makes Huawei Nova 5T better than last year's Nova 3?

Huawei Nova 5T vs Huawei Nova 3
In case you missed it, Huawei Nova 5T is the direct upgrade of last year's star, the Nova 3. But here are some of the reasons why this new smartphone is better than its predecessor.
1. No more notch! - The Huawei Nova 3 featured an iPhone-like notch that's been an issue for some. But this time, the Nova 5T ditched it by using a punch-hole feature to place its selfie camera placed at the upper left corner of the phone.
2. Better, scene-stealer design - Much of the crowd loved how clever the Nova 3's design was last year. But Nova 5T's shiny holographic design is something that would make heads turn to this phone. Do you agree? Midsummer purple is love!
3. Faster processor, greater performance - Huawei Nova 5T is packed with the latest 2.6GHz 64-bit Kirin 980 octa-core processor, Mali-G76 MP10 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X, and 128GB ROM. It uses the same processor as the brand's latest P30 flagship series. And of course, this smartphone runs on the new Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.1 out of the box.
4. FOUR rear cameras - Triple rear cameras are so 2018, that's why Huawei equipped the Nova 5T with quad rear cameras! It is made up of 48MP f/1.8 aperture + 16MP f/2.2 sensor with ultra wide-angle lens + 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro lens + 2MP f/2.4 depth of field lens with PDAF, CAF, and LED flash.
Unlike the dual selfie camera of its predecessor, the Nova 5T sports a single front camera of 32MP f/2.0.
5. Rapid charging - We're all thrilled with Huawei Nova 3's 18W fast charging for its 3,750mAh battery. However, Huawei Nova 5T just keep on surpassing its predecessor by supporting 22.5W SuperCharge for its 3,700mAh battery!
6. More affordable price - The Nova 3 was priced at PHP 25,990 in its launch last year before it's recently dropped to PHP 18,990.
BUT, the Huawei Nova 5T is being sold at the SRP of PHP 18,990 with all these upgrades!
