Realme 5 budget phone with a quad-camera setup now official!

On schedule, realme launched the realme 5 series. The entry-level version of this new phone line is the realme 5 with a large display and quad-camera setup.

Realme 5 features a crystal-like gradient back cover design with a 6.5-inch HD+ "Mini-drop" HD+ display with 89 percent of screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, it runs with the 11nm Snapdragon 665 processor with Adreno 610 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB expandable storage, and massive 5,000mAh battery capacity.

12MP AI quad-camera setup

Going to the main highlight of this device, realme 5 has four cameras at the back. It uses a 12MP f/1.8 main camera, 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide secondary camera, 2MP 4cm macro third camera, and 2MP depth fourth camera.

For selfies, it goes with a 13MP snapper with AI portraits.

It also has a realme customized version of the Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6. For gamers, it has the HyperBoost 2.0 tech to play games smoothly.

In India, the 3GB RAM/32GB version is priced at INR 9,999 (around PHP 7.2K). The 4GB RAM/64GB edition retails for INR 10,999 (around PHP 8K) and the 4GB RAM/128GB model is priced at INR 11,999 (around PHP 8.7K).
