The PMCO Global Finals 2019 happened last July 26 - 28. 2019 in Berlin, Germany. It is here that the Vivo NEX was showcased as the "ultimate tool" for gamers. The PMCO 2019 was divided into two splits which are Spring and Fall. The whole prize pool totaled USD 2.5 million.

Vivo NEX has a notch-free Ultra FullView Display with a 91.24 percent screen-to-body ratio that aims to provide the most immersive gaming experience possible. It has an elevating front camera that allowed for a notch-free design.

It also has two new features to improve and optimize gaming performance. Vivo Multi-Turbo Engine is a combination of several existing Turbo features including Game Turbo, Center Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and AI Turbo to make sure that it maintains a smooth performance even at the most intense parts of games.

First off, Game Turbo connects the game performance SDK to enable optimizations specific to a number of popular mobile games including PUBG Mobile. Center Turbo, on the other hand, prioritizes CPU and internal resources to ensure maximum performance for games even when there are multiple apps running in the background. This is said to reduce FPS drops by 78 percent.

Cooling Turbo, as the name implies, handles the NEX's cooling and thermal management system to ensure that the device does not overheat, AI Turbo is tasked in anticipating resource-intensive scenarios to allocate CPU/GPU power accordingly. This helps in speeding up the start-up process of applications.

Turbo Mode also optimizes the display for PUBG Mobile specifically. This includes HDR+ extreme support and stable high frame rates. Users can access Turbo Mode via the PUBG Mobile application.
