The device with the top average Android AnTuTu score is from ASUS, the new gaming-focused ROG Phone 2.

AnTuTu: ROG Phone 2 is the fastest in the world (August 2019)

ROG Phone 2 bested the ASUS ZenFone 6 (2019) with an average score of 396,813 versus 376,671. Technically, it is the highest-scoring phone in the world as its score is also higher than Apple's fastest, the iPhone XS with 351,647.

The reason behind ROG Phone 2's massive score its use of the overclocked 7nm 2.96GHz Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with improved Adreno 640 GPU. In addition, it has a UFS 3.0 storage with faster read/write speed versus the previous-gen UFS 2.1 found on most flagship phones.

Aside from its performance, ROG Phone 2 also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate screen and 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

These features make the ROG Phone 2 the most attractive gaming-focused smartphone as of the moment.

At the number 3 spot is the OnePlus 7 Pro, my personal favorite smartphone of 2019 with a score of 372,534. It is followed by the Mi 9, K20 Pro, and OnePlus 7 with 371,108, 370,398, and 370,111, respectively.

The next 3 phones are the Galaxy Note 10+ (SD855), Mi 9T Pro (technically the same with K20 Pro), and Black Shark 2 with over 360K+ scores.

The last phone on the list is the Samsung Note10+ 5G with Exynos 9825 chip.

Next month, we'll see if the newly announced Black Shark 2 Pro with SD855+ chip will enter the list.

Could it be the phone to dethrone ROG Phone 2?

Let's see!
