Vivo releases Z1x mid-range with AMOLED screen, SD712, USB-C, and triple-cam!

In India, Vivo released a promising mid-ranger, the Z1x. It's a phone rocking an AMOLED display, SD712 chip, and a triple-camera system for less.

Vivo Z1x features a glass-like back design Fusion Blue and Phantom Purple gradient colors and a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

It is protected by the SCHOTT Xensation Glass which is said to be 8.15 percent better than the competition. It also has a DC dimming in the form of low brightness anti-flicker.

Promising mid-range specs!

Under the hood, it is powered by the 10nm Snapdragon 712 chip, Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.1 non-expandable storage, and 4,500mAh battery with USB-C 22.5W fast charging solution.

Vivo claimed that it can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

At the back, the handset has a 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX582 sensor +  8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide lens + 2MP f/2.4 depth camera. For selfies, there's a 32MP f/2.0 snapper.

As expected, this phone has WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, and Android 9.0 Pie OS with Funtouch OS 9.1 skin.

It measures at 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13 mm and weighs 187 grams.

In India, the price starts at INR 16,990 (around PHP 12.3K) for the 64GB variant. The 128GB model retails for INR 18,990 (around PHP 13.7K).

The phone will be available from September 13 in India.

Based on its specs for the price, not bad! Let's hope Vivo will bring it here in the Philippines.
