Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Plus with pop-up dual selfie cam now in stores!

Late in July, Cherry Mobile unveiled the Flare S8 Plus. Based on its design, specs, and set of features, it is the most promising local phone of 2019 yet. More than a month after, it is now available nationwide.

As a quick refresher, Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Plus boasts 3D curved pearl black back and a 6.26-inch Panda King protected all-screen FHD+ display.

To make that possible, the company opted for pop-up camera design. But, it is not just your usual pop-up (elevating) cam. It has a dual pop-up selfie cam design with a 16MP f/1.8 Samsung S5K3P3 primary sensor paired with a 5MP depth camera.

Cherry Mobile clarified that it uses a 5MP depth sensor, not 2MP based on our previous report.

Triple-cam

At the back, it even has more cameras. It has a triple-camera setup of 6MP f/1.6 Samsung ISOCELL S5K2P7 primary sensor + 5MP OV5670 monochrome sensor + 2MP depth sensor. It has a dual-tone LED flash as well.

Under the hood, the phone runs with the 2.1GHz 64-bit Helio P70 octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable via microSD card slot up to 512GB, and 3,250mAh battery capacity with fast charging support.
