OnePlus TV 55 Q1 and TV 55 Q1 Pro announced!

Along with the revamped 7T, OnePlus launched its very first TVs in an event in India. It comes in two models, the TV 55 Q1 and TV 55 Q1 Pro.

The new OnePlus TVs have a carbon fiber back case and tiny bezels in front. There is a OnePlus Dock that is made out of strong glass. OnePlus Dock is a stand that will allow users to enjoy the wall-mounted setup.

Slim bezels

The  TV 55 Q1 and TV 55 Q1 Pro both feature a 55-inch 4K QLED screen highlighting a 120 percent NTSC color gamut. The TVs also highlight the Gamma Color Magic picture processor, Dolby Vision, HDRand 50W speakers with Dolby Atmos audio technology.

The difference between the two is the Q1 comes with 4 speakers while the Q1 Pro highlights a total of 8 speakers with 50W output. Q1 Pro Both have a  3-way digital crossover, 6-channel amplification, and an integrated 2.1 audio channel.

There is a mesh fabric with higher transparency to make sure that sound passes well.

The TVs have a horizon light on the sliding soundbar.

Minimalist remote

OnePlus uses a remote control with fewer buttons rechargeable via USB-C.

The TVs have WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, 4x HDMI with 1x eARC support, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, and 1x USB-C.

It runs with Android TV 9.0 with OxygenPlay on top. OnePlus promises that it can provide updates up to 3 years on the TV.

According to the company, it has deep cooperation with international and local content providers like YouTube, Prime Video, Eros, and more. There is a convenient content search via voice search + search aggregation.

There is a OnePlus Connect App to allow you to use the smartphone as a smart remote.

OnePlus also said that the Farfield, a rear-mounted attachment to allow owners to control televisions with voice commands, is also coming soon.

In India, the OnePlus TV 55 Q is priced at INR 69,900 (around PHP 51K) and the OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro retails for INR 99,900 (around PHP 73K). The devices ill be available starting September 28 in India.

There's no word yet if it will be available in other parts of the world including the Philippines.
