Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T is coming?

It wasn't that long ago when Xiaomi launched the original Redmi Note 8. To recall, it is a mid-range phone with noteworthy specifications for its price but it did not have NFC.

With the widespread adoption of NFC payments, there is a growing market that prefers that feature. Enter the alleged Note 8T, the Note 8 with NFC. 

Alleged retail box

In the alleged pictures, the marketing material says that the phone is carrying a 48MP primary rear camera, with a large 6.3-inch Dot Drop display with Corning Gorilla Glas 5 protection.

Inside could be Snapdragon 665 AIE processor with a large 4,000mAh battery that is charged via the 18W charger included in the box.

The phone will allegedly have a quad-rear camera made up of a 48MP main shooter with a macro camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a depth sensor. There is no word on RAM and internal storage capacities nor was there a word on global availability and pricing.
