#AngkasTaraNa: Angkas offers FREE rides to LRT-2 commuters

Good guy Angkas is giving FREE rush hour rides to commuters along the partially shut LRT-2 line.

If you want to avail of this FREE service, there is a schedule to follow.

Commuters can get free Angkas rides from Tuesday to Thursday, 8AM to 10AN. and 5PM. to 7PM from the west end of the LRT-2 in Recto, Manila to Santolan in Marikina down east.

The LRT continued partial operations at 6AM. Tuesday from Cubao to Recto only. It was closed for 5 days after a power rectifier along Katipunan Avenue burst into flames last Thursday.

There are other options if one cannot avail of a FREE ride from Angkas though. Regulators earlier granted special permits for 89 buses to ferry LRT-2 passengers.

Aside from that, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority also offered FREE bus rides from Santolan to Cubao.
