Why realme XT is the mid-range phone you wouldn't want to miss?

Realme's midrange offering, the XT, is poised to be a great phone in its own right. Here are a few reasons why this device could be worth your hard-earned buck!

1. 64 MP AI quad-camera setup - The realme XT is fitted with a flagship-like arrangement of four cameras with the main being a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. Add to its ultra-wide and macro shooting capabilities, photo quality is also boosted by various modes such as Nightscape and Chromaboost. The combination of cameras also enables the XT to capture videos in 4K at 30fps.

2. Snapdragon 712 AIE - Running the XT is a 10nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE chipset with a clock speed of up to 2.3GHz. This processing power works together with either 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB RAM depending on the user's preferred configuration. With this, users can expect high- and optimized performance whether they're just browsing the web or playing games.

Speaking of gaming experience, the realme XT is also likely to handle even graphically demanding games with HyperBoost 2.0.

3. 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED - Users can enjoy all these features through the XT's 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. This screen has a 91.9 percent screen-to-body ration, with thin bezels and a notch at the top for the 16MP Sony IMX471 front-facing sensor. The display also houses the fingerprint scanner, protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and melds perfectly with its Hyperbola design.

4. 4,000 mAh battery - The XT is built with a 4,000 mAh battery which should be enough to last its users a day away from the plug with moderate use. Energy consumption is also optimized by ColorOS 6 based on Android P. When the battery gets at a critical level but users have no time for a full charge, the XT features VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 which promises at least up to 50 percent charge within half an hour.

5. The expected low price tag - Realme has yet to reveal the SRP of the realme XT, but it is expected to be very affordable for what it is.
