In India, Vivo has introduced the U20, a new budget phone packed with highly competitive specs.

Vivo U20 goes in Racing Black and Blaze Blue colorways, 6.53-inch FHD+ 2340 x 1080 notch display, 11nm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz with Adreno 612 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB UFS 2.1 storage expandable up to 256GB via microSD, and 5,000mAh battery with micro USB 18W dual engine fast charging.

For the cameras, the device is packed with a 16MP f/1.78 Sony IMX499 primary sensor, 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide secondary camera, and 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro sensor.

The handset also has a 16MP f/2.0 aperture selfie camera with face unlock tech, fingerprint scanner at the back, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It measures at 162.15 x 76.47 x 8.89 mm and weighs 193 grams.

U20 4GB retails at INR 10,990 (around PHP 7.7K) while the 6GB edition is priced at INR 11,990 (around PHP 8.4K). It will be available in India from November 28.

Note: that the prices in PHP are out of straight conversion with no taxes and duties yet.

To recall, SD675 is the same chip found on the PHP 21,999 Vivo V17 Pro and 20,990 Samsung Galaxy A70.

There's no word when will it go official in PH yet.
