Angkas gets 72-hour TRO against LTFRB and DOTr
This new policy received a huge backlash as it puts 17,000 Angkas riders at risk of losing their main source of income. After posting a PHP 300K bond, the 72-hour TRO was signed by Vice/Acting Executive Judge Ofelia L. Calo at the Mandaluyong City Regional Trial Court.
Angkas celebrated this small yet meaningful victory but remains to be firm that the decision to slash the number of riders is detrimental to its mission of helping commuters each day and give people an honest way of making a living.
