Realme 5i now official in the Philippines, arguably the best for the price!

On schedule, realme formally announced its newest budget contender in the Philippines, the realme 5i.

Realme 5i arrives in the Philippines

To recall, the realme 5i arguably has the most impressive specs in its class. It is a budget phone that uses a "Van Sunlight" 3D textured finish and a large 6.5-inch 2.5D curved IPS display with HD+ resolution and Gorilla GLass 3+ protection.

Inside, it is the most affordable with the 2.0GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU in the country yet.

The Philippine version of the realme 5i is packed with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. Powering this phone is a large 5,000mAh battery with a micro USB 10W charger.

Quad-cam for less

For the cameras, it has the same 12MP quad-camera system coming from the realme 5, but it has updated software with an improved EIS for stabilization for shooting 1080p videos.

The selfie cam is down from 13MP to 8MP versus the 5i. The rest is similar to the realme 5i. It still has a fingerprint reader at the back, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, and dual SIM slots.

This device loads with Android Pie with ColorOS 6.0 skin out of the box.

The realme 5i is priced at PHP 6,990. It will be available starting February 1, 2020, in offline stores.
