In Vietnam, realme launched the realme 5i, the more affordable slightly toned-down sibling of realme 5.

It has a new "Van Sunlight" 3D glass-like back design in Blue or Green colors and a slightly lower 8MP selfie shooter instead of 13MP.
The budget phone for aspiring vloggers?
It still has the same quad-camera system with a 12MP f/1.8 primary sensor with PDAF, 8MP f/2.25 119-degree ultra-wide secondary camera, 2MP f/2.4 4c macro camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera.
But realme made it better for videos. Like the realme 5, it can shoot 4K videos up to 30fps. It now has an anti-shake technology for more stabilized videos. It also supports slow-mo videos up to 120fps.

The rest of the specs are similar to realme 5. It uses a Gorilla Glass protected 6.5-inch HD+ notch screen, 11nm SD665 chip, up to 4GB RAM, up to 64GB expandable storage, 5,000mAh battery.
In Vietnam, realme 5i starts at VND 3,700,000 (around PHP 8.1) while the realme 5 starts at VND 4,000,000 (around PHP 8.8K).
Note: We got the Vietnam price by straight converting the SRP without taxes and duties yet.
We don't know when will it go official in the Philippines though.
