POCOPHONE X2 now official!

On schedule, POCOPHONE announced its second device, the POCO X2. As expected, it is a rebranded Redmi K30.

To recall, the Redmi K30 features a 5mm copper tube liquid-cooled body that can reduce the temperature of the phone by up to 7 degrees and a 6.67-inch 20:9 IPS screen with 2400 x 1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It also has a dual punch-hole for the selfie cams and it has 91 percent of screen-to-body ratio and a 4.25 mm narrow chin. POCO X2 also has HDR10 support.

Under the hood, the new POCO has mid-range worthy specs. It uses Qualcomm's 8nm Snapdragon 730G processor with Adreno 618 graphics, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage, and 4,500mAh battery with USB-C 27W fast charging support.

For the cameras, the K30 phones are the first with the 64MP f/1.89 Sony IMX686 1/1.7-inch sensor. It is paired with an 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide cam, 5MP (K30 5G) /2MP (K30 4G) f/2.4 2cm super macro, and 2MP depth camera.

For selfies, it has a 20MP primary selfie cam paired with a 2MP depth sensor for portraits.

There's a 
physical fingerprint reader on the side, 3.5mm headphone slot, 1217 Linear Speaker, Smart PA, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It measures at 165.3 x 76.6 x 8.79 mm and weighs 208 grams.

The phones run with Android-based MIUI 11 skin out of the box. In India, it will be available from February 11 through Flipkart.
