In a post by the official Canon Philippines Facebook page, the Japanese manufacturer teases the upcoming EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera.

EOS R5 with uncropped 8K coming soon?
Canon Philippines took to its official Facebook page to reveal that its upcoming EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera will come with up to uncropped 8K at 29.97 fps video with Dual-Pixel Autofocus. This means that the camera is powerful enough to record 8K with the full-width of the sensor while offering Dual Pixel AF.
The AF has also been upgraded to include detection for cats, dogs, and birds!

There is no official information yet on the other specifications of the EOS R5. It is rumored to have an all-new 45MP full-frame sensor that is supposedly paired with the new Digic X processor in the recently announced 1DX Mark. III.
The Facebook post did not say if the new sensor has In-Body image stabilization. Until Canon's official announcement, we may yet to know more details.
