Realme 6i will be the world's first Helio G80 phone, to launch on March 17

Realme 6 and realme 6 Pro will soon have a new sibling dubbed as the realme 6i and it will go official soon.

Realme Myanmar shared on Facebook that the handset will launch on March 17. It also revealed that the device will be the very first to load with the new MediaTek Helio G80 processor.

As a quick recap, the Helio G80 comes with 2x ARM Cortex-A75 power cores clocked at 2.0GHz and 6x ARM Cortex-A55 efficiency chips at 1.8GHz. The GPU is ARM's Mali-G52 MC2 with a higher 950MHz speed versus the 820MHz.

It is also confirmed that the handset with a USB-C 18W Quick Charge tech and a quad-camera system at the back.

FCC also shared that details and an image of a handset with the RMX2040 model number. It is said to be the realme 6i.

The handset comes with a whiteish color at the back and waterdrop notch. It runs with  Android 10-based ColorOS 7 skin, but it is expected to come with a custom realme UI. It measures at 164.4 x 75.4 x 9.0 mm and weighs 195 grams.
