The handset boasts an active air-cooling system (ICE 3.0 dual cooling technology) that uses a spinning fan and a heat-sink chamber. According to Nubia, it can reduce PC temperature by up to 18 degrees Celsius. Automatically, the cooling system will be activated when the phone is charging at its peak 55W to prevent overheating.

The phone also boasts a promising display. It comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch response. The screen also an In-Display fingerprint reader and the TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certification.

Inside, it runs with Qualcomm's 7nm Snapdragon 865 4G flagship octa-core chip paired with the Snapdragon X55 5G modem. It also has the Adreno 650 GPU.

The phone goes with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and 4,500mAh battery with USB-C 55W fast charging. It supports Quick Charge 4.0 and Power Delivery 3.0 as well.

For cameras, it comes with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary cam, 8MP ultra-wide cam, and 2MP macro cam. For selfies, there's an 8MP snapper in front.

The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack slot, stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra, 4D game shock, RGB light panel, touch control shoulder buttons with 300Hz pressure sensitivity, side-mounted 7-contact pin.

Nubia Red Magic 5G comes with WiFi 6, 4G LTE, 5G (NSA/SA), and Bluetooth 5.0. It runs with the Red Magic OS Cyber Edition skin based on Android 10 OS.

The handset is now available for pre-order. It will be available for purchase starting March 19 in China. The prices are:2

8GB/128GB - CNY 4,099 (around PHP 28.9K)
12GB/256GB - CNY 4,399 (around PHP 32K)
16GB/256GB - CNY 4,999 (around PHP 36.4K)
