Beats 360 priced in PH: Interchangeable cushions, IPX4 rating, and 32-hour battery, PHP 21,990 SRP

Beats has unveiled the Beats 360, a new full-sized wireless headphone aimed at gym-goers who prefer over-ear headphones during workouts.

The design emphasizes durability, customization, and several features carried over from other Beats and Apple audio products.

Built from more rugged materials for long-term wear, the Beats 360 carry an IPX4 water-resistance rating, a first for Beats headphones. 

The ear cushions come standard in a Performance knit mesh with foam padding, with an optional soft leather alternative available separately.

The headphones themselves are offered in four colors: Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky.

 

Performance knit cushions come in six colors, including Black, Cloud, Pink, Sky, Navy, and Volt, while the UltraPlus cushions are available in Black and Cloud. 

A replacement kit bundles both cushions and headband, letting users mix colors or swap out worn parts.

Comfortable fit

Inside, the Beats 360 feature a newly designed high-dynamic-range amplifier paired with custom dual-magnet dynamic drivers. 

Dual neodymium ring magnets allow the drivers to produce 12dB more output than those in the Beats Studio, along with improved damping and rigidity.

The Beats 360 includes active noise cancellation that Beats says blocks 1.75 times more noise than the Beats Studio Pro, making it the company's strongest ANC headphone to date.

Beats says ANC adjusts automatically based on ambient noise and fit, powered by nine onboard MEMS microphones and the earcup chips. Beats also stated the transparency mode sounds more natural than in previous models.

Additionally, the headphones support Adaptive EQ, which tailors sound output to the listener's ear and head shape for more consistent audio across volume levels. This feature remains active even with ANC and transparency mode turned off.

Rather than Apple's H1 or H2 chip, the Beats 360 run on a custom Beats-designed chip. As with the AirPods Max, all core electronics, including the chip, battery, and antenna, are housed in each earcup rather than the headband, reducing the wiring that needs to run between them.

For battery life, Beats says it achieves around 32 hours of music playback, regardless of whether ANC is enabled. 

Despite skipping Apple's silicon, the Beats 360 retain much of the Apple ecosystem functionality found in other Beats and AirPods products: Spatial Audio with head tracking, one-touch pairing, hands-free Siri, audio sharing, iCloud pairing, automatic device switching, and Find My support. 

On Android, the headphones support Fast Pair, Find Hub, Google account pairing, Audio Switch, and other features through the Beats Android app.
