HUAWEI will introduce two new smartwatches: Watch GT 7 Series and D3 in the Philippines this October.

The launch follows HUAWEI's ranking as the top wrist-worn device maker globally by shipment volume in the first half of 2026, according to IDC. The firm reported holding more than 20% of the global market during that period and said it also led the category in the Philippines.

WATCH GT 7 Series

The WATCH GT 7 Series is aimed at users who want a combination of sports tracking and everyday wearability. It features a titanium alloy case with an octagonal design and a new strap system HUAWEI calls EasyCross. The watch is rated for up to 21 days of battery life.

For outdoor tracking, the device uses HUAWEI's satellite positioning system, which the company says improves GPS accuracy, along with AI-assisted coaching across more than 100 workout modes.

On the health side, the watch uses the TruSense sensor platform to track a range of metrics, including risk indicators associated with diabetes and coronary heart disease, along with a "Physical Readiness" score and other research-based health features.

WATCH D3 features

The WATCH D3 is positioned as a health-focused device centered on cardiovascular monitoring. It has an 11.3 mm profile and is built for continuous, all-day wear.

Its main feature is an updated version of HUAWEI's wrist-based ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) system, which uses a narrow airbag strap to take readings throughout the day and night. Huawei says the new measurement schedule cuts the number of daily inflations from 27 in the previous generation to seven, reducing interruptions while maintaining measurement accuracy.

The device also includes a CE-certified ECG and PPG sensor, along with an overview feature called Health Glance that compiles cardiovascular data over time.
