A triple-cam phone with old Helio P23 chip

It's an entry-level offering with a gradient and glossy back in Aurora Blue and Night Black colors. In front, it has a 6.53-inch 19:5:9 HD+ screen with a notch for the selfie cam.

Under the hood, it is disappointingly powered by the prehistoric 16nm MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core processor with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. It is paired with tiny 2GB RAM, ample 32GB expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card, and a large 4,000mAh battery with 10W micro USB charging support.

The best feature of the phone is its triple-camera setup. It uses a 16MP primary camera with bright f/1.7 aperture and large 1.4µm pixels. It is paired with a 2MP f/2.4 macro cam and a 2MP f/2.4 depth cam. For selfies, it has an 8MP shooter than can record up to 1080p videos.

At the back, there's a fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone slot as well. The phone has WiFi b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and Android 9.0 Pie OS with HTC Sense UI.

It measures at 163.2 x 77.8 x 8.9 mm and weighs 186 grams.

There's no word about its pricing yet. But, HTC should give this a low price to justify its use of the 3-year-old Helio P23 processor.
